Rhytidectomy - Facelift
RITIDOPLASTIA - LIFTING FACIAL
Process
It is a surgical procedure that is used to improve the visible signs of aging of the facial and neck region. As people age, the skin and muscles of the facial region begin to lose tone. The facelift does not stop the aging process, but it improves the visible signs of aging by tightening deep structures, resecting selected areas of fat if necessary, and removing excess skin on the face and neck. The facelift can be performed as a single surgery or in conjunction with other procedures such as brow lift, liposuction, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), nasal surgery or fat grafting.

The facelift must be individualized for each patient. The best candidates are patients with flaccidity or ptosis of the tissues of the face and neck, with loss of skin elasticity and well-defined bone structures.
