Postbariatric

POSTBARIATRIC

Procedure

Natural body proportions and curves are affected by weight gain and loss, pregnancy, gravity, and aging. When your body weight varies, significant disproportions are observed in various parts of the body as well as loose skin and excess fat. As we age, our skin tends to lose the elasticity and firmness that it had in youth, and by losing weight, the skin does not have the tone it previously had, which leads to excess skin and sagging. After a significant weight loss, as is the case after bariatric surgery, contour surgery or post-bariatric surgery can significantly improve the shape and tone of the surrounding tissues as well as remove excess skin and fatty tissue, being able to achieve a normal appearance of the body with smooth and aesthetically favorable contours. This type of surgery can significantly increase self-esteem and body image.
